CMKL University, an innovative educational institution focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering, is seeking an outgoing, responsible, people-oriented individual for the role of Student Relations Officer. The Student Relations Officer serves as a dedicated liaison between our students and the university administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, psychology, counseling, management, marketing and communications, etc.);
• At least three years work experience in a role that centers around communication and human relations. Experience teaching or academic advising is a plus;
• Highly proficient in both English and Thai;
• Comfortable with digital tools and media;
• Strong sense of responsibility and ethics;
• Compassionate and empathic;
• Sociable, outgoing personality.
The Student Relations Officer is responsible for the following tasks:
• Meeting individually with each student at the start of each semester to help them create their study plans;
• Meeting individually with each student at the end of each semester to collect heir feedback and encourage them to introspect about their academic experiences, accomplishments and problems;
• Establishing regular weekly office hours when students can visit to voice complaints or offer suggestions;
• Interfacing with the Student Council and other student groups who are working to improve student experience;
• Managing a repository of data derived from student feedback and proposing processes for using these data to drive continuous improvement of our students’ experience and outcomes;
• Working closely with Program Coordinators on proposed changes to the management of our student programs;
• Providing input and suggestions to the development team responsible for our educational technologies regarding desirable future capabilities and student requests;
• Participating as a member of the Undergraduate and Graduate Studies Committee.
