Dr. Vanus Taepaisitphongse assumed the role of Betagro’s Chief Executive Officer in 1988, advocating a vision of “delivering safe and high-quality products to people around the world.” In addition to steering a leading agribusiness conglomerate, he serves as an Advisor to the National Innovation Board of Thailand under the National Innovation Agency.

Dr. Vanus also plays a pivotal role in enhancing Thailand’s research and innovation ecosystem. He serves as an Advisor to the Subcommittee on Innovation System Development and as an Expert Evaluator for large-scale research plans and system performance under Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI). His strategic insights further benefit the National Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation Policy Council. 

By joining CMKL University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Vanus brings deep expertise in strategic innovation and business leadership, as well as a proven commitment to advancing research, youth empowerment, and sustainable development goals. His comprehensive experience in advising national-level research, innovation bodies, and private-sector enterprises will further strengthen CMKL’s capacity to drive transformative academic and industry collaborations, fostering high-impact research and global partnerships.
