The ECE/Thailand MS program is a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), a leading engineering university in Thailand.
To facilitate the collaboration with CMU, CMKL University has been established in association with KMITL to administer the program for research and education activities in Thailand.

The program includes intensive study in electrical and computer engineering with the opportunity to specialize in data science, security, cyber-physical systems, software engineering, and mobility. Students in the ECE/Thailand MS program will undertake an intensive study of the fundamentals of electrical and computer engineering. During the course of obtaining the MS degree, students will take graduate-level ECE courses and participate in research projects.

Graduates of the program will earn two degrees: one from Carnegie Mellon and one from CMKL.

Admission criteria for the ECE/Thailand MS program are identical to current ECE MS admission standards.
