On November 26, 2024, CMKL University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation in medical innovation with Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Faculty of Medicine @KMITL, King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital (KHMC), and the King Mongkut's Hospital Foundation in the Patriarch's Patronage.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Professor Dr. Anan Srikiatkhachorn, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, KMITL, Professor Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, President, King Mongkut’s Hospital Foundation in the Patriarch’s Patronage, Associate Professor Dr. Supan Tungjitkusolmun, President, CMKL University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Walairacht, Deputy Director, King Mongkut’s Chaokhunthahan Hospital, during a ceremony held at King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital.
The MoU aims to foster collaborative medical research, enhance community engagement, and establish sustainable partnerships. For example, the Centre for Natural & Artificial Intelligence—a joint initiative by KMCH, MED-KMITL, and CMKL—will bridge neuroscience research with AI technology to deepen our understanding of the human brain, improve care for brain-related conditions like Alzheimer's, and develop more intuitive human-machine interfaces.
On behalf of CMKL, we are excited to be part of this initiative. By partnering with our distinguished partners, we are confident that this collaboration will improve healthcare quality, support innovative medical research, and contribute to a future where healthcare is both accessible and effective for all.
