เมื่อวันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2565 ศ.ดร.ศุภชัย ปทุมนากุล รองปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรม (อว.) เป็นประธานลงนามความร่วมมือจัดตั้งสถาบันวิศวกรรมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ โดยมีผู้เเทนจาก 6 มหาวิทยาลัย

On May 10, 2022, Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) presided over the establishment of the AI Engineering Institute (AIEI), with representatives from 6 universities.

เมื่อวันที่ 12 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2565 ศ.พิเศษ ดร.เอนก เหล่าธรรมทัศน์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรม (อว.) ได้อนุมัติหลักสูตร Sandbox ภายใต้สถาบันวิศวกรรมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI Engineering Institute; AIEI) ที่มีความร่วมมือจาก 6 มหาวิทยาลัย

Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, The Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) approved the Sandbox curriculum of the AI Engineering Institute (AIEI), with cooperation from 6 universities on September 12, 2022.
