From a pool of over 300 entries, ten exceptional teams advanced to the finals of the Beyond Green: AI for a Thriving Future Pitch Competition, each showcasing innovative, real-world solutions to pressing global challenges.
The program began on June 23 with a workshop dedicated to refining pitching skills, accompanied by a session on UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, emphasizing responsible technology development. A final rehearsal gave teams the confidence to present their ideas on the global stage.
On June 24, the finalists presented their innovations through poster sessions, engaging in dialogue with international experts and peers. The highlight of the event was the live pitch competition, where teams introduced their groundbreaking AI-driven solutions to an international panel of judges from diverse sectors. Each project aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), spanning areas from robotics to remote sensing.

The ten finalist teams included: SONAR with a Thai audiobook platform for inclusive accessibility for the deaf; EcoRobotics, an AI-powered water waste sorter for recycling; Pathos, a navigation assistant for the visually impaired; 🙂, a portable detector for early diabetic retinopathy screening; LuntiAIn, a remote sensing solution for environmental monitoring; Catalyst Innovators, an AI-driven system converting CO2 into renewable fuels using solar energy; Somsrimaauachai, an AI-based assessment of carbon absorption from rubber planting; Sedern, a land plot detector for tax collection optimization; TSSCoder, AI for smart farming and soil restoration; and SilentSignal, an advanced AI-driven hearing aid.
On June 26, the top three winners were celebrated for their outstanding contributions: SONAR earned first place with its audiobook platform fostering deaf inclusion; EcoRobotics took second place with its AI-powered water waste sorter; and Pathos secured third place with its smart navigation tool supporting visually impaired individuals.
The Beyond Green 2025 competition demonstrates the transformative role of artificial intelligence in driving sustainable, ethical, and inclusive innovation. With solutions addressing accessibility, health, environmental monitoring, and resource efficiency, these young innovators are setting a new benchmark for technology’s potential to create a thriving future.
