On July 16, CMKL University took another meaningful step in expanding its global academic network through a highly productive meeting in Washington, D.C. The CMKL leadership team engaged in a rich dialogue with Mr. Thitidej Tularak, Minister-Counselor at the Royal Thai Embassy, and representatives from the Institute of International Education (IIE), including Ms. Cori Crisfield and Ms. Kelly Manzoand.
The meeting centered on exploring new opportunities to collaborate across education, research, and innovation. Among the highlights of the discussion were CMKL’s potential involvement in two of IIE’s flagship programs: the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP) and the Global E3 program. Participation in these initiatives would open the door for enhanced academic exchanges and partnerships, including access to a global network of 68 top-tier engineering institutions—offering CMKL students exciting international learning experiences.

This conversation builds on the foundation laid by CMKL’s prior engagement with IAPP, which successfully led to a fruitful partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). That experience demonstrated the value of international academic alliances and set the stage for broader, more impactful collaborations.
We deeply appreciate the opportunity to connect with the IIE team and the Royal Thai Embassy. As we continue to foster ties between Thailand and the U.S. academic communities, CMKL remains committed to creating pathways for innovation, cross-cultural understanding, and educational excellence for the next generation of global changemakers.
