Royal Thai Air Force Air Staff Delegation Visits CMKL University to Explore AI and Advanced Technology Collaboration

CMKL University welcomed an Air Staff delegation from the Royal Thai Air Force, led by Air Chief Marshal Anurak Romnarak, Chief of the Air Staff, to its campus on June 29, 2026, for a strategic exchange on artificial intelligence, advanced technology, and real-world innovation.

The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, CMKL University, together with members of CMKL’s management team and faculty. The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to discuss how AI education, applied research, and engineering talent can contribute to Thailand’s technological readiness and long-term innovation capacity.

As Thailand’s No. 1 AI and Innovation University, CMKL places artificial intelligence at the foundation of its education, research, and innovation ecosystem. Through hands-on learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world implementation, the university prepares students to translate technical knowledge into practical solutions for industry, society, and national development.

During the visit, the Royal Thai Air Force delegation explored AI research and innovation projects developed by CMKL faculty and students, including work from the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering program. The student projects demonstrated how AI engineering can be applied to complex problems, connecting classroom learning with practical use cases and broader national relevance.

The exchange reflected CMKL’s commitment to building an innovation ecosystem where academic expertise, emerging technology, and institutional collaboration come together to address real-world challenges. It also underscored the importance of developing future-ready talent who can work across disciplines and apply AI responsibly in high-impact environments.

CMKL University looks forward to continued dialogue and meaningful collaboration with public-sector and industry partners to advance AI development, support practical technology implementation, and contribute to Thailand’s innovation ecosystem.
