CMKL University, an innovative educational institution focusing on Artificial Intelligence and
Computer Engineering, is seeking a technically competent, detail-oriented individual to serve
as Quality Assurance (Q/A) Engineer for CMKL internally developed software.
Qualifications
- Recent bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information
technology or comparable field.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills;
- Experience working as a user with the Linux operating system;
- Organized, disciplined and detail-oriented approach to work;
- Patience and enthusiasm.
The Q/A Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Reviewing test plans created by project leaders and providing feedback and
suggestions;
- Developing new test plans under project leader supervision;
- Executing test plans on an agreed schedule and reporting results;
- Maintaining detailed records for all testing activities, to allow tracking of defect
detection rates and associated metrics;
- Researching and prototyping tools to automate Q/A activities and improve software
quality;
- Creating test data to support Q/A activities;
- Participating in development team meetings and providing detailed updates on Q/A
tasks;
- Contributing to the definition and evaluation of formal Q/A processes to support
continuous improvement.
