An expert in international education and foreign affairs, Dr. Goodman has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of International Education since 2021, following more than two decades as its President and CEO (1998–2021). He earlier held senior academic posts at Georgetown University and served as an analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. He holds a PhD in Government and an M.P.A. from Harvard. A prolific author on intelligence and Vietnam-era diplomacy, he serves as a CMKL University Trustee and has received numerous honorary doctorates and decorations.
