An engineering academic specializing in concrete and construction materials, Assoc. Prof. Komsan holds a Doctor of Science and a Master of Science from Tokai University, Japan, and a Bachelor of Engineering from KMITL. He currently serves as Acting President of KMITL, having previously been Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (2005–2020). His record includes extensive committee service with the Engineering Institute of Thailand and the Concrete Association of Thailand, alongside numerous publications on cementitious materials, curing methods, and concrete properties.
