CMKL University invites the public to learn how to recognise AI-enabled scams in “รู้ทัน AI Scam: ป้องกันตัวจาก Deepfake และมิจฉาชีพออนไลน์,” a workshop at Sustainability Expo 2026.
Led by Dr. Natnatee Dokmai (Ko), the Thai-language session is scheduled for Thursday, 12 November 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Idea Lab, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok.
The workshop is designed especially for older adults and uses practical examples to make the topic approachable.
Recognising how scammers use AI
A message, voice recording, or video may appear convincing even when it has been manipulated.
Through real examples and hands-on activities, participants will learn how scammers use AI to create misleading content and practise ways to check suspicious information before responding.
The workshop will cover:
• Fake messages
Recognise situations in which a message may be designed to mislead or pressure its recipient.
• Cloned voices and deepfake videos
Understand how AI can imitate familiar voices or create manipulated video content.
• “Stop, Check, Verify”
Practise a simple approach to pausing, checking a claim, and verifying information before taking action.
