Foundation Skills (Core Prep)
Session length: 2 hrs/session (5:30–7:30 PM)
Weekly schedule (4 days/week):
- Mon/Wed: Mathematics for AI
- Tue/Thu: Programming & Problem-Solving / AI System Design
Block structure
- Block A (Weeks 1–6): Foundations I (Math + Programming)
- Break (Week 7): No classes
- Block B (Weeks 8–13): Foundations II (AI Fundamentals + System Design)
What Students Learn (4 Domains)
1) Mathematics for AI (Mon/Wed)
- Algebra, functions, matrices
- Linear algebra fundamentals for AI
- Probability & statistics for AI
2) Programming & Problem-Solving (Tue/Thu)
- Core data structures and complexity thinking
- Algorithmic problem-solving patterns
- Practical coding habits and structured thinking
3) AI Fundamentals (Mon/Wed in Block B)
- ML essentials: data → model → evaluation
- GenAI overview and responsible use
- Real-world applications and limitations
4) AI System Design & Implementation (Tue/Thu in Block B)
- End-to-end pipeline thinking (data → model → evaluate → deploy-lite)
- Building a working AI application (inference + API + integration)
Who Should Apply?
- High school students exploring AI, Computer Engineering, Innovation, or digital programs
Certificate: Participants receive a Certificate of Completion upon completing the block session.
